reached Ubin at around 2plus. was lunch time and we got to know our groupmates from the other schools. interesting!
after lunch was tent-pitching. i had a splinter in my small finger and i went to the sickbay. so i did not get to pitch a single tent on my own:(
soon was dinner, during which could get to know my groupmates better. i'm SO happie that the guys are neither sissies, nor selfish ppl. yes! everyone shared all the rations(:
after dinner had pioneering. we tied a struture that was supposed to be a mess-tin/stove hanger. quite creative there.
after which had ice-breaker game. by then, eveyone was sweating. the game was smth like everyone standing on a bench and organising themselves according to height/birthdays..etc. fun!
had debrief session with our group CI, kimpeck sir. he was lenient. very nice too. told us ghost stories abt bahru campsite. thank goodness we're in noordin campsite. phew.

had morning pt. ran from noordin to bahru and back to noordin. it was a good jog i must say. i sweat it all out.
after breakfast was orienteering. kimpeck sir and mrchia were our instructors in charge. we sat off slowly to our first checkpoint.. guess we were somewhat too slow. =p
there were 7 checkpoints. and we came in 2nd out of 3 groups. quite an achievement, considering we spent a huge amt of time on a game which i shant go on to elaborate.
lunchtime was heaven. everyone was starving after the orienteering. i cooked 2 packets of maggie mee for myself and i could not finish, oOps. no one could help me to eat.
after lunch was supposedly kayaking. but because of the bad weather, we had to wait in the boatshed. in the end, we never got to kayak because the weather was so unpredictable:(
we soon went back to the usual assembly area where we got ready out campfire stuff. shenglong was the HAWK. haha. and we had a good time dressing him up.
after dinner, was CAMPFIRE!!!!! fun! cos there were many cheers and songs. it was high!!!
den it rained! oh mann!!!
but that did not dampen our spirits. we went to the assembly area and continued cheering. this time, everyone's face was RED from cheering. LOL
after cheering, we had stand-by-tentage. we were given 8mins to get our stuffs ready.
had a real bad sleep that night because i was sleeping at the end of the tent, and mosquitoes were feasting on my blood. endure for 1hour. den finally, when i could endure no more, i went to sickbay AGAIN to apply lotion. man was it soothing!!!
we were supposed to report for sentry duty at 3am, ending at 4am. but we were 10mins late and had to do 1 1/2 hour of sentry duty instead.

final day. we were given a privilege that was too hard to resist. no PT!!! oh yayyy!!!
ate breakfast at 630am. everyone was still half asleep and we all had only dry rations.
after breakfast was area-cleaning. my group was in for the keeping of the tents. quite a difficult task because teh sheets were dirty, full of grass and we had to clean them off.
last half hour of camp, we got scolded by raymond sir. for no sense of urgency, etc..
then.. was prize presentation, and guess what! my group, HAWK, got the best group award. we were SHOCKED alright. yay! happie too! everyone, including ourselves were puzzled at how we clinched the top prize. the two individual bset campers came form nvss.
from the campsite to the jetty, camp commandant wanted us to have non-stop continuous cheers and songs. and we DID IT!!!
when we finally reached jetty, everyone was panting. real hard!

i love this year atc! the ppl in my group have also changed my attitude towards atc. the ppl have really made a huge difference in the 3days, which i thought was to be horrific, and terrifying.

after camp, i went back to our church. they were having lay apostolate telematch!
i wanted to join in. so i just slotted myself into sam's group. haha. we ended up in polar's group! yea. the 3 of us UNITE!
games were fun. samuel and nathaniel were our facils. cOoL_

wad an eventful weekend. and guess what.
i have not done a single peice of homework.

today had fun. went sakae after school with laodie sam rachel eliz. damn fun. but there was a price to pay.

we ate and ate and ate. it was like a feast, smth like the dining table in the harry potter show, table filled with plates and plates of food. haha. den we played the guess number game. and i kana twice. the penalty was eating one bowl of soba noodles. so i had to eat 2bowls of soba noodles. man! it was bad. rachel was mean!!
later sang birthday song for laodie, we celebrated an early birthday for her. and had a good time smashing her face with cake. XD
after all the commotion, i had a bad bad stomachache.
but i enjoyed myself big time today!

well, so many things happened. i failed my chem. seriously thinking of dropping pure chem and change to scienceCHEM and scienceBIO and drop physics completely. anyway im also not intending to do anything associated with science when i grow up.
but if i change my subject combi again, it'll bring so much trouble to so many people, teachers, vp, principal. but anyway, sjc teachers always busy themselves with student affairs, so i guess another such case will probably make no diff((:

today was such a stressful and hectic day! thankGOD the day is over.

well, yesterday night, i found out that i had bio and phy tests the next day.
and i had yet to prepare my np uniform.
and the parade commander thing.
big headache i had.

today..
-had bio test in the morning before recess. made a whole truckload of mistakes. as always!
-after recess had physics test which was super uper difficult. think i'll FAil
-aft the test, i rushed to do a set of hist notes for msYeo's lesson. mr chang saw me doin something which wasn't physics. threw his marker at me. =p
-last period was english, had some mini debate. i practiced the np pledge like siao.
-straight aft school, went to change and practiced my steps at the rostrum.
-the parade began, it was a fast one. din make any mistake. ((: the pledge was a success! ahh..
-but mr chia told me that there was supposed to be flag-raising, it wasn't in the list..
-aft parade HO came and revised rifle drills with us. chieYing took over my sec1s. rifle drill was fulfilling. simply love it!
-after training had debrief with sec1s. funny. and now i know they acn really keep a secret(:

havent experienced such stress since UG camp. wow!

mann! ATC is this coming friday, 19thAugust. i hate atc, i'm terrified, I AM SCARED, thank goodness jac is in my group. lovemybestsquadmate!!!

national day celebration was somewhat lame.
in the morning had the slow march.
i heard someone say that it was badly done.

anyway. being in full uniform was bad. esp since everyone was enjoying themselves in the air-conditioned hall.
and we were stuck outside.

well, after that, had food and fun fair. mrs ong was the first to pull me to buy her food.
in less than half and hour, all my money was wiped out. i was broke(:

went to play basketball with the ppl and it rained. oh mann!!
went back to the hall. which was air-conditioned((:
but i went down to help clean the canteen which was in a HUGE mess and angie ong was scolding and yakking..
"the hall is in an appalling mess girls. i'm utterly disappointed in you.... ........ ......... ...."

quite fun, cos helpers got free drinks..
haha, was damn thirsty.
after that cherry sold us 10sausages for $1. siao. sharon paid for me first.

when everything ended, jac huimin and i stayed back to discuss physics project. well, that was wad we WERE SUPPOSED TO DO. but we ended up slacking, eating laughing, shitting.
let me elaborate.
marianne gave us one whole bowl of strawberries. and a big bag of white chocolate.
mrs meena gave us a packet of milo powder and cookies.
and ppl gave us lots and lots of flowers.
ms sek gave us garlic bread.
we wiped out all the strawberries in no time.
white choc was so sweet and nobody wanted.
we added water cooler water to the milo powder. i had 2 cups of it, resulting in extreme stomachache.
ate the cookies! nice, though many were chao da.
we plucked all the flowers and had messed everything up.
ate the garlic bread.
OUCH.
a result of all this feasting: BAD STOMACHACHE.

after that went compass point to watch tang eat.
jac told me something frightful!!!!!!
after that went home..
my sister and bro were making cookies for my parents who are coming back tmr.

late for lectors.
went to the hall to help out in the powerpoint slides.
polar came and she had a bad sore throat, her mum made her drink starfruit juice, which she simply cant stand.
and she said that she wont be able to shout "girls pls stand up and get into your lines" tomorrow.

later went for mass on my own. polar went home. she excused herself from mass cos she couldn't receive communion and cos of her sore throat. i couldn't stop her from going home.
hmm. i believe if sam was here. she'd make sure polar stayed for mass. but she's in melbourne.. oh well. she's so lucky..
after mass prayed for super long time. i need GRACE. WISDOM. got some really mixed up complicated feelings in my mind now.

went home for lunch. later watched tv and fell asleep.
for 2hours, i replenished all the sleep that i lost during the weekdays when i wake up at 545am.

tomorrow is national day celebration. and polar reminded me time and again that i hafta wear "red and white", "red and red", or "white and white". eww. i think i'll wear school uniform. thankGOD half the time i'd be in my full uniform.
wow. it's so fast, the parade thing is tomorrow. i hope i dont make any mistakes. esp when shouting the timing((:

okay. today did flag day. mrs liau scolded me for wearing other shoes when i was supposed to wear school shoes. very sorrie to the ppl whom i gave wrong info to (abt being able to wear home shoes)
me sabrina polar yujun naomi were grouped together. went park mall once we collected the donation bag. had lunch there.

after which we walked out of park mall to do the flag day. took a bus 131. led us to little india, then serangoon estates, then finally thomson road. oh mann. we were lost. in the end. we alighted at novena church and started our flag day in front of novena church(:

was quite fruitful because my donation bag was heavy! LOL. i held the donation bag until my hand ached. heh..
went back, took 131. but we lost our way again and ended up at shenton way. frustrated, we decided to cab back. goodness, because it was peak period and also because we were in central business district, extra $2 was charged. but the good thing was, we reached our long-awaited destination, plaza singapure((:
when we went back, almost everyone had left.

we met huimin and eliz in the toilet. eliz went for tennis training, the remaining 6 of us went to take neoprints. it's been years since i last took neoprints.
then i suddenly had a "brilliant idea" to go carrefour to buy roasted chicken and eat at someone's house. and as usual, ppl thought i was siao.
when we were at carrefour, we were at the food section. then i saw this guy stuffing a pack of 500ml fruit tree fresh juice into the handbag of his girlfriend. and they did it openly. i saw it with my own eyes. oh my. and i thought i could be lyk a "hero" and reveal them. so i stalked them, all the way till the second floor. and in the end.. FALSE ALARM. they actually went to the scond floor to avoid the long queue on the first floor. MALU! and to think the rest of them believed me and followed me along the "investigation". HAHA. wad a laugh.

in the end, went long john for dinner. huimin and i shared a combo 1. and we met relieana there, created a scene. she kept smacking my face, and i smacked her butt. and she screamed! MALU again! at the end, when we were about to leave, we struck the bell many many times. we were such AA batteries! LOL.

after which went home. in the train had a good talk with huimin. and naomi polar huimin were scared of going home themselves cos of 7th month!! they all called their parents and brother to fetch them home. haha. i walked home all the way from the mrt station. in deep thought..

finally! common test official ended. i'm so glad. history paper was bad. did not have enough time to complete. i've got so many things to say, but no time to put it into words. mann..
after school practiced the slow march. germaine told me the march was approximately 2minutes. whoa that's long. after that continued training. the sec1s are gonna have a hard time adapting to marching. and i taught my group turning drills. yeah(:
after training went lectors mic training.
now i'm at home.

tomorrow going to do flag day. gonna report at plaza sing starbucks at 1pm to collect the tins. HAHAHA. first time in my life doing flag day.

how nice. since sec1 din get to do becos they say npcc ppl haf enough cip hours, dun hafta do flag day. lame excuse. lol. i'm so excited(:

today went for a study session with aggie sam rachel laodie huimin anna and waisum. was NOT at all enriching. i was LAUGHING OUT LOUD all the way. of cos with a lil um-chios here and there. i almost peng.
the whole burger king was polluted with my laughter. i'm so sorry. could'nt concentrate on ss(wad i wa supposed to study).. it was only ONE chapter and yet i could not do it within 2hours. but i think it was a good afternoon. i really have not had a good laugh in a long long time. today i think i really let everything out. i am HAPPIE(:

common test is ending in three days time. wow, seems like NO ONE is in the common test mood. everyone (including me) is like HIGH!!! dunno why. and end yr exams is like 5weeks away, from wad mr chan told us. gosh, gotta buck up. this time next year, i'd be in the hall doing my prelims. can imagine how fast time will fly.

but for now, it's still play. =D gonna do flag day dis saturday with sabrina naomi yujun rachel huimin brenda.. in town!! at cine there. gonna slack there. maybe(: i'll make sure i enjoy myself before i suffer under the torment of the exam fever next week onwards.

dis morning couldn't go st anne funfair becos i lost the tickets and also because i had no time. straight away aft class went to isis house for tuition. couldn't concentrate because i was so hungry. justin came. that irritating boy.

went home at abt 4.30, ate lunch. studied chemistry. acids bases and salts is a pure murderer. chemical analysis is needless to say, worse.

tomorrow i have english test and chemistry test. thank god english is a piece of cake(:
