this has been an eventful week,
many things happened that made me think.
think a lot.
maybe i shouldnt think too much.

how time really flies,
january is almost over and we're on to february.
2008 was a fast year,
and i reckon so will 2009.
time's passing far too fast for me to waste it away.
i must grab hold to every opportunity i can,
and not waste life away.

godma told me about word of God today.
i've been not depending on it,
that's why my life's been topsy-turvy.

just passed my btt on monday,
and am so thankful to God!
hahah this time, must thank him.
cos i really really didnt do it based on merit.
i only got like 42 for my trial?!
it was terrible.
consulted my cousin and mother,
and literally scrutinized the test qns up down left right centre.
not forgetting that i clutched the rosary ring throughout the test?
haha it gave christi blessings too! (:
yay! cant wait for final theory test on 18feb,
then it's off to the roads!

been happy happy these few days,
keeping in contact with impt people in my life.

hmm really brights up my mundane lifestyle of office work everyday 9-6.
haha. the weekends have really become something great a deal to look forward to!

just a couple of things that i've been taking for granted the past twelve years.
and i'm sure my fellow cohort do feel the exact sme pinch as i do:

1) skyrocketing price of ezlink fare
-wahbiang this is ultimate, forget to tap your card once and you can jolly well say bye to $2plus? and minimum fare deduction of $0.71.. ouch!

2) school
- not going to sch to meet familiar faces to crap and share jokes once holidays are over feels a little weird

3) Cheaper canteen food
- yea it's not like canteen food's any big deal, but it's only $2, Excluding gst! (hmm yes, i'm beginning to sound stingy. BUT it's the truth!)

4)PE
- ahh, no more compulsory twice a week exercise means an increase in the bumming around at home and as what christi mentioned, growing (Sideways) rapidly :s

5) pocket money
- dont know abt you guys, but now needing to work to finance my own spending, transport, food, driving lessons blah blah, is real tiring. finally know what my parents go through.

yeaa and the list probably goes on just that i havent got sufficient brain cells to think cos they've mostly been sucked up by the computer radiation that i've been absorbing for the past 7-8 hours in front of this PC.

dang.

what a holiday it has been!
really enjoyed myself a great deal this december,
like no other december ever before(:
wonder what on earth was i wasting my december in 2007 for.
this year's, is so much better(:

shall begin with supermassive!
the turnout was good,
and i believe the four of us,
together with some help from the floor,
did a good job fund-raising!
Anne, Rachel and Jane,
great job my ladies!
it was a tiring,
and loud night,
but i'm sure we all enjoyed it aye!
look forward to buying the christmass presents with you all!

oh oh,
the next exciting thing that happened!
tang came back!!!!
had a long chat with her on friday,
followed by dinner with eliz and her at chomp chomp.
love them!

youth in the spirit seminar,
was good.
and i was pleasantly surprised by how i actually handled this thing.
made really good friends from there,
and also allowed my faith to deepen.
saint francis of assisi (my group) is love!

after yiss, it took me some time to sink back into reality.
haha,
i think my group very on.
moses had been organising for our group ppl to go afternoon mass at novena together,
and i must say it's better than expected.
hahah, well done people!

tuesday 16dec,
aggie rachel and i went to sengkang to meet eliz tang huimin sam at about 10pm.
was really great,
had tons of fun chatting with my favourites about anything and everything under the sky.
hahah we had to stop when rachel needed to use the toilet badly,
and we walked towards compass point.
afterwhich we slowly made our way to rivervale plaza.
it was about 2plus 3am,
and we decided to take our time and wait
till 4am for macs breakfast!
yummy! hahha i love hotcakes so much.
we parted at 530am,
and i crashed on my bed at 6.

had to pull myself outta bed at 9 cos i had a so-called interview at sjc for relief teaching.
had a super bad hangover.
dragged my way to sjc and thankfully,
there was no interview,
only filling up of application form.
quite waste time,
but thank God it wasnt the real interview,
which i heard will be held by miss chow leng choo :x

lectors retreat on saturday was good,
but i really felt not fully prepared,
and could have definitely been better if i had read up more on saint paul.
feel really guilty that things turned out so haphazardly.
sorry guys,
i'll try harder the next time i promise!

this holiday has been hella fun.
ok cannot use "hell"
but, its been eventful and not forgetting the pay,
i feel richer.
hahahah definitely beats last year!
with my pay will come along,
black flower, and red nano.
yipee!
i cant wait!

this coming week will also be one that's filled with fun with my beloveds!

yesterday, went to ssdc at angmokio to enquire about the class3 driving test that i wanted to enrol in.
my cousin accompanied me since he wanted to register for his class 2A license.
he's my inspiration since he got his class3 already!!
realised that i'd have to pay a bomb if i want to complete the whole driving term.
it could amount to the thousands over the entire course.
i've decided to seek the help of a private instructor,
which provides more flexible timing,
and affordable costs.

yiss is this thursday and i'm really hoping to get something out of it.
something spiritually uplifting?
hahaha then again,
i shouldnt hope so much.
just go there with an open mind.
it'll be good!

and not forgetting i still need to shop for formal attire
to wear to the office,
and in the school in future.

DRIVING. FORMAL WEAR. YISS.

prom was goood(:
things turned out great!
from the hair that i went with aggie to do,
to the makeup that dearest elizabeth so kindly and patiently did,
to ensure that aggie and i looked up to mark!
hahha rachel also came to help and look at our prospective makeup artist do her thinggg!
we then cabbed down to meritus where eliz made her way to traders hotel for her class dinner,
and aggie and i went to guest rooms to place her bag.

so many beautiful people in the function room i tell you.
though i was slightly blind without my specs,
cos i just dont dare to stick that damned contacts into my eye,
the ambience was great cos there were many ppl that we havent seen since A's were over.
took many pictures,
and i really regret not bringing my own camera!!
hahaha.
during the whole thing,
played some really lame games,
and went to the toilet several times.
OH, what caught my attention the most,
was the top lucky draw prize.
nintendo wii!
i want.. .. ..
it went to someone else though.
hahaha i think the best part of it was the end.
where everyone just scattered around to take pictures together.
it was a good feeling,
seeing faces that used to be so familiar,
because of all that everyday study in school.
but also, a nostalgic feeling?
cos we might probably not meet anytime in the near future.

after one hour of camwhoring,
2t34 came to a decision to watch a midnight movie.
Four christmases!
i was really reluctant cos i was dead beat by that time,
and didnt want to part with my money cos i already spent a bomb on prom itself.
but i guess i dont regret it,
cos it was a good movie
(i'm surprised i didnt fall asleep!)
and smth else happened,
which actually made watching the movie a blessing in disguise!
shant blog about it though.
ahhahahah.

well well, gotta sink back in to reality,
cos i've got to work later in the afternoon.
yeaa man.
no joke. no more slacking.
(for today and tomorrow that is)
cos it's party time again on thursday!

A levels are so over.
well its been over since 14th,
and i'd like to say i spent the free time rather competently?
hahah call me NO-LFE,
but i was working
and earning income.
shopped, ate, watched movies, chilled out,
apply for driving..
i did nearly everything i hoped to.
fall short of only earning enough money to sustain my spending.
so many things to buy!
recently laid eyes on the 4th gen ipod nano,
which i'm considering getting.
with the increase in disposable income with time,
i dont see why i cant!
ahahahh work hard rowena!

just two days ago,
i was enthusiastic about prom.
but now, it just feels weird.
for obvious reasons.

gotta say big thankyou to eliz and rachel for taking time out to help me.
with everything.
i'll just pray that tomorrow ends up well.
and that i do not behave like a self-centred and immature friend.
